The benefits of sports and physical activity are well documented. While some families have the ability to afford sports gear, leagues, and travel costs – many do not. Consequently, families and their kids are left behind on the sidelines. Dolphin Recreation Team strives to offer resources for families and youth in need.
Dolphin Recreation Team is committed to providing a variety of recreational events throughout the year, including tournaments, fun game days, leagues, and clubs that all help support Christian recreational and fitness groups, companies, and facilities. At Dolphin Recreation Team, we are all about building community and having fun! Although recreation fosters competition, Dolphin Recreation Team’s events are designed to encourage fellowship, sportsmanship, and beneficial life skills in a Christian Environment. We believe that sports provide empowering and confidence-building opportunities for people to meet, socialize, and create change and that these opportunities should be available to ALL. 2025 will be the launch of Dolphin Recreation Team’s first full year, which will start in Mid-Michigan.
We are fortunate at Dolphin Recreation Team to be able to generate revenue from our events to support our mission — but it does not cover the full costs of doing our work. In order to make up the difference we need your help! Dolphin Recreation Team is currently seeking supporters for the 2025 season. By supporting Dolphin Recreation Team, you’ll help advance our work to make sure all kids and families have access to recreational opportunities and learning experiences.The best part is you are helping develop community camaraderie, promoting teamwork, building character and friendships for life and an overall enhanced experience for our players and community all in a Christian environment.

Although Dolphin Recreation Team is managed by a professional staff, we are heavily dependent on volunteers. The success of our events are dependent upon individuals willing to volunteer their time to help make them happen. The common denominator of all Dolphin Recreation Team volunteers is the simple desire to give something back to the recreation that they love and the benefits of helping build a stronger community. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a few hours a month, we would love to have you involved.

However, to do this, we need your help to keep event fees as low as possible to offer a more professional event and an overall enhanced experience for our players all while giving back to families and youth in need.
